Eli's First Day of Kindergarten

Eli started school today! He woke up extra early today and couldn't go back to sleep. When we dropped off Abe in the morning Eli was disappointed that he couldn't go in the school yet. Then he kept asking when the bus was coming to pick him up. We were told to have him ready to get on the bus at 12:15. We were also told the bus would be late the first week or so. The bus finally came at 12:35. Eli waited outside over 30 minutes. He was so excited. It made it a lot easier to send him on the bus. He didn't seem nervous at all. (He told me last night when I was putting him to bed that he was really looking forward to school, but he would miss me a lot. That's exactly what I wanted to hear.)
