Painting the Kitchen

We have lived in our house over three years. We are finally painting the kitchen! We are a little slow. And even though we've been working on it for about 2 weeks we are only about half way done. I guess we are really slow! Andy, my mom and dad are really the ones doing all the work. I am the one doing all the complaining/belly aching.I have to thank my friend Corey for her inspiration and tips from her blog here and here.  (She is beyond amazing!)

Wow, this was so bad!












The cupboards were in pretty bad shape.



Mom started by painting the ceiling. Then she added a coat of primer on the bottom half and Dad cut in with the blue paint on top.





Much better!



We may paint part of the table white...



Week 2 we focused on the bottom cabinets/ cupboards.



So much brighter!





We are going to get a new door and paint it white. We are also trying to figure out if we can take out the desk here and put in a pantry instead.
