I think this was after our first trip to the park this year. He was worn out.

Simon loves to swing. The first time I put him in he could hardly stop giggling.

Fun at the park.

This week at the park we happened to see my sister Anna with her little family there too. They brought kites and were nice enough to give the boys a chance to fly them. It was the perfect day for kite-flying.

Abe and Eli did pretty well. Except when it was time to go and Eli let go of the kite and the wind blew it away. Fortunately it didn't end up in a tree or too far away. It was fun to watch the boys flying kites.

Abe was recently invited to a birthday party for a friend from school. I'm really glad Abe went because he had the time of his life riding go-karts and playing mini golf. The theme was Cars. Abe came home with this beauty.

Okay, I think this is from January, but I love this picture of Simon. He reminds me of a penguin.

When Libby was in town back in January we got this shot of some of the cousins. There have been so many little boys. It's really something to see so many of them lined up like this.

I get really nervous when the boys run around the house that we are going to have another head injury, so I spent an afternoon working on this:
Before:

After:

It is from an old memory foam mattress topper that we weren't using anymore. It's not especially well-crafted, but it's holding up okay for now.
He just can't get enough of the swing.

This little cutie is 18 months old now. Pretty crazy.

Abe and Eli did a basketball class together at the YMCA. The coach is huge, especially next to the kids, but he is really nice and patient. Eli wanted to dunk.

Coach said only if it was backwards.

Abe is a pretty good shot.

A dozen donuts means General Conference in our house.

Simon is a fan.

We had some friends over to play recently. At one point we realized the kids were being a little too quiet. Then we realized they had gone upstairs. (In our house you only go upstairs to sleep. There are no toys up there and it's off limits.) Then we realized one of the kids cut Eli's hair...

Luckily, Eli is a boy, so buzzing his hair wasn't a big deal, but it was a surprise. She said he told her to. He said she asked if she could... Oh, kids...

He really got bouncing on the bumble bee.

Some friends of ours had an Easter egg hunt on their huge property again, we had so much fun. It was one of the first nice, sunny days this spring.

These boys know how to have a good time.

Simon is still figuring out how to use a spoon.

Simon loves Peter Pan.
