I had some bacon in the fridge and I didn't know what to do with it. I looked online and saw some different ways to bake it, which sounded easier than frying it, so I gave it a whirl. I really liked it. The bacon crisped up nicely, which I like, and it was flat instead of all wavy the way it cooks in a frying pan. It was nice to do a big batch and then we had prepared bacon to add to salads or sandwiches, or whatever we wanted.
Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
Uncooked bacon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line baking sheet with foil.
Bake for 12-17 minutes until done to the crispness that you like. (Start checking at 10 minutes.)
