It's A Major Award!

We love the movie A Christmas Story in our house.  There's the part in the show where the dad wins the lamp, and he's so excited for his "major award"...

Of course it's the leg lamp that the mom can't stand at all.  Anyways, I bring this up because Andy called me last week on the phone after work.  He was really excited.  He had been to some sort of meeting for one of the carriers he sells insurance through.  At the end of the presentation Andy somehow won a Kindle Fire HD!  He was so happy!  He had never won anything before, and he was the winner!!  Fun, right?

He must love me an awful lot, because he has given me the Kindle to use whenever and however I want!  I feel so blessed to have such a generous husband!

(A funny side-note to the story:  Andy drove to the office after winning the Kindle to pick something up and come home.  Then his car wouldn't start!  I think winning the Kindle helped keep our spirits up while waited to find out what was wrong with the car.)
